The Day land last year I wanted to celebrate with which to many is the best piece of the series Cosmos of Carl Sagan : That little pale blue dot. In it, and from a photo taken of our planet by the spacecraft Voyager 1, from about 6,000 million km, Sagan reflects on the need to respect that small inconspicuous pale blue dot in the image, our fragile home, well of course, leaves also what our disputes unsubstantiated "domestic" against the majesty of the cosmic background.
Like the great songs, this short video has inspired many creative people. Here are a few examples, I find via Open Culture . The first work of Winnik Adam, a student at Sheridan College Animation, Wyoming, the other of Michael Marantz, from time lapse images from Mexico and Utah, with music composed by him same. Are in English, but comes to mean the same as in the subtitled video that I commented at the beginning. Do not miss it.
