iPhone launches an application to detect and avoid NGO volunteers

Technology giant Apple has announced the launch of a new application for mobile devices. With AGPS technology, the iPhone now warn the user of the uncomfortable presence of volunteers, interviewers and recruiters from the major humanitarian organizations such as Red Cross, Amnesty International, UNHCR , Intermón-Oxfam or Customs Without Borders .


The phone does not vibrate so only noticeable but automatically drawn on the touchscreen different escape routes. If the user does alternative but to pass along or through these young men armed with folders, the iPhone will call itself to its owner simulate a telephone conversation.


According Paco Lara, press officer of Apple Computer Spain, "this application is not only available for the iPhone 4 but, thinking on the most disadvantaged, you can also download previous versions of our smartphones .

Despite the voices of protest from NGOs, from Apple argues that "this is how browsers with radar detectors: one is free to stop or keep running, but in reverse."
